Freddie Hubbard passed away on monday night. A true master and one of the greatest myths in jazz who suffered from the ignorance of mainstreamers but the ultimate recognition of his contribution during the funkjazz period in the 1970s. His last years found him in silence from multiple health problems and the continous false news of his death. Now is true. But his music will live forever.
